Real pleasure

‘爽’ (shuǎng) is a character often used after a pleasurable event to express satisfaction, for example, eating hot soup noodles. The character ‘爽’ (shuǎng) which means ‘pleasurable’, is generally used on its own. However, sometimes it is possible to mix ‘爽’ (shuǎng) with other characters to make it into a phrase, for example, ‘真爽!’(zhēn shuǎng) which literally means ‘real pleasure!’
